Jack - is 1.5 tonnne OK

Post by Griffalo » Fri Jun 20, 2008 4:54 pm

Hi

Having recently discovered that my Bongo came without a jack - after driving around for nearly 2 years!! - I need to get one.
Draper have a scissor jack at £15 but it is only rated at 1.5 tonnes - would this be OK for wheel changes when you are only lifting one corner of the Bongo?

Cheers

If you look at the draper range, one of the best bits of kit I have is a draper, air jack, it's like a big space hopper and inflates from the exhaust in about 3 seconds, absolutely brilliant and cost around £30.00, well worth buying, I have used it so many times helping others, also got a wheel nut wrench which works of the cig socket too.

Thanks for the replies.

I have seen that air jack and it looks a great piece of kit. I was looking for something to fit in the space where the jack should be though - unfortunately I guess this doesn't.
