Hi All, Anyone fitted side repeaters/ are they easy to wire in and how is it done

Hi,

I haven't fitted them but was loaned a bongo recently that had them. They were fitted to the backs of the mirrors, looked pretty neat. I guess you just tap them into the relevant indicator wiring from the front indicators.

BTW the ones looked to be LED, I think Hella do stick on LED kits.

You would need to remove the front door cards and trace the wiring through the conduit between the bodywork and doors.

My bongo has them fitted, they are simply daisy chain wired into the front indicators +ve and -ve wiring like for like. The plastic inner arch will need to be removed from the front wheelarch if fitting to the front wing, then re-fitted afterwards of course.

Just remember to treat any holes drilled against rust,luckilly i was changing my original orange side repeaters for some smoked items, when i noticed that the hole that had been drilled by the importer were untreated, and rusty around the drilled lip, i treated it with with acid etch primer after filing away the rust.
