Glowplugs

Ben Bruce submitted an article (in the fact sheets) regarding a glowplug saving modification. I've also spent a considerable amount on the plugs and also paying a garage to carry out the work so I decided to do the same. The job in itself is very easy and I'm sure it will extend the life of the plugs - hopefully by years. If I could find one I would have fitted a spring return switch instead of the one suggested. That way you only need to hold down the switch with the left hand while operating the starter with the right. I've found that it only needs to be on for a few seconds rather than the long periods it operates the plugs normally.
