Window not opening

Post by M&K » Wed Jun 04, 2008 5:46 pm

Hi Folks,
I have removed the door panels ( 2 or 3 times ) to replace the speakers, but now the passenger window will not open
either from the passenger door switch or the drivers switch, the connection in the door appears ok, there is a votage
at the connector inside the door and the drivers window work fine, all windows are on one fuse so i.m a bit puzzled, has
anyone had this sort of problem ?

Cheers , Mike.

there is a lock switch just under the 2 window switches on the drivers door have you knocked it to lock? as that will stop the passenger window as you describe.

hope its that simple

No worries its one of those things that crops up from time to time and will again very soon

Thats why I knew about it

There should be a list of common things that happen and their simple remedies

Roof not going up = Hand brake not on
passenger Windows = switch locked
side door not opening from inside = Childlock
And many more that escape me
