Re: york meet friday 6th till sunday 8th june
just popped down to meet up with handyman and mrs at goosewood.there was a bongo there already, a couple from manchester that wernt aware of the ways of the bongo.
just timed the journey into york for the saturday night and have got somewhere sorted out for the parking, its gonna cost £2.00 to park in there but its a bit closer to the centre of town. we could use the bus as the bus stop isnt too far from the site but we would have to be there for 5.30pm to go into york
if we leave the campsite via bongo conyoy we can leave at 6.30 to give us time to get to the shambles.
its a group decision
jos just looked at the timetable and we would have to walk back or get taxis as there isnt any buses after 7.50.
anyway should be plenty of space in the carpark. if anything crops up this week ill post it but hope to see you all on friday.
we are gonna be there to do greet and meet from around 2pm on friday but john and sharon are already there.

just some rules and regs for the site
Conditions
* * minimum booking of 3 nights at Bank Holidays
* All visitors cost £2.50 each
* A non refundable deposit of £20. (£30 for Bank Holidays) is required to secure a pitch reservation.
* Whilst you may request a specific pitch or to be grouped together with friends we will endeavour to comply but no guarantee can be given.
* We do not accept bookings from single sex parties, teenage/young adults or groups of more than 4 units.
* No gazebos allowed.
* Earliest arrival time is 12.00 midday, and on departure day pitches are to be vacated by 12.00 midday. If you wish to stay longer, please check with reception on departure morning. If your pitch is not required you may stay free of charge until 2.30pm, if you stay later (up to 5.00pm) there will be a small charge of £5.00.
* Strictly no late noise after 11.00pm as this is a quiet family park. Failure to comply with this will result in the family being asked to leave the park.
* A maximum of 2 dogs per caravan is allowed. For obvious reasons dogs must be kept on a short lead and exercised in the woods. For the health of your dog and for the benefit other people on the park do not leave your dog unattended in your caravan.
* Refunds cannot be given to customers that depart prior to the end of a booked holiday.
General Park Rules
* Drive slowly (5mph max.) for the safety of children and wildlife.
* Commercial vehicles only allowed on the park at the discretion of the management.
* Caravans must be fully insured by the caravan owner, Goosewood Holiday Park and its management accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to the caravn and/or its contents and are left at the caravan owners own risk.
* Goosewood Holday Park and its management will not be held responsible in any way, either directly or indirectly for the possessions of customers and guests visiting/staying on the Park.
* Goosewood Holiday Park Management reserve the right to:
o Refuse admission to the Park, whether or not a pitch has been booked prior to arrival.
o Remove any person (or property) which in its opinion is not suitable to use the management to be detrimental to the interests of other guests.
o Refuse the rental of a touring/seasonal/storage pitch at any time.
o Change or amend the Rules at any time.
* Payment of fees constitutes acceptance of the Goosewood Holiday Park Rules.
there is a touchcard for the barriers at the entrance and a keypad for the toilets.if everyone who turns up could call at the reception on arrival. just explain your with the mad bongo group and im sure some men with white jackets will be out shortly to collect you.
weathers looking good so far so hopefully we will be able to just sit back and look at the skies on the nights and not be stuck in the playbarn.
