Silly question time.

Can I double check with you all, that I have read it right.

To test VC.....

Raise one front wheel off ground, With a torque bar thingy apply said pressure, and if the wheel takes more than 30 seconds to turn round 90degs, then the VC is OK?

Guessing if wheel turns quicker, then the VC is $%&*+!

Cheers.

Thats the way I read it Brora. I know of a 4WD which is definitely ok - only got 18,000 miles on it - I'll try and get hold of it and try the test sometime.

Thank Dandy, I apriate...apprishiate....appri....sod it, I'm greatfull.

I spoke to the mechanic that does the work on the bongo, that I won't attempt, or have the tools for, and he wanted me to double check. He says it sounds about right, but has never come across it before. Flats spots on tyres, yes, but not possibly due to VC's.

Cheers.
