Water pump price

Post by vanvliet » Tue May 27, 2008 12:01 am

Where is the best place to get a new reasonably priced water pump ?
Might replace the rad at the same time but recent thread suggested a supplier for this item so fixed for this .
Finally , best source price for a timing belt kit ?
Looked in 'search ' but got tired - - - -
Origo bio stove - no Bongo!

The other week, I bought pump from Bongobits for just under £70 & timing kit from Ian for about £60 - ish (not got my invoices to hand). They were the best value I could find from 'reputable' sources, rather than going down the route of using suppliers on ebay that I was not familiar with.

You can get the water pump and cam belt and tensioner from a company called Euro Car Parts, they specialise in German Parts but now do a lot of jap parts, they do all the service parts for the bongo.

hope this helps.
