diy exhaust fitting

I have a middle section and back box to fit,ive recycled the copper gaskets by heating,quenching and wire brushing but do i need any sort of sealant/fire putty ? cheers....

I was advised to use some. Got a tube from Halfords. Nasty stuff, use gloves! It worked a treat and I've done many thousands of miles since.

Copper when anealed should seal. :wink:

Don,t forget to copper the nuts n bolts.
Makes removal much easier later
