heaters poor

Post by You've Been Bongod » Sun May 18, 2008 8:59 pm

hi all
last year i had a new rear heater matrix fitted and then took my bongo off the road for 4 months ,

anyway
my heaters seemed not to blow as well as they did since bongo was last on the road ?
just having a new genuine rad fitted as mine was leaking and wondered if that could have been the problem with my heaters?

any help would be welcome

Just a thought. If your thermostat were jammed open the coolant in the heaters would not be getting hot.

Nothing to do with the linkages for the flaps inside the ducting?

yeah... the linkages are by your left foot when you drive...

I knocked mine off with my size 11 jimmy chu's... and it sort of blew everywhere and nowhere, but never to demist

it's a sprung steel clip on the end, so I threaded mine and put a nut on it, think it was m4... but not totally sure, may be m3, or......  ... but been peachy ever since!
