rolling on right hand corners

My bongo seems to roll when I am taking a right hand corner, this is especially noticable on roundabouts. I have checked the anti roll bar, no broken clamp as I expected to find ... any ideas ????

what am I looking for when I check the suspension units.. I see no oil leaks ( do they have oil in them ! ) ......

Check the balance of your avitars front wheels.
You can fit air spring assistors on the back.
They do roll a bit

front wheel balance on my activar is fine :p The body roll is VERY pronounced on a right turn, not so much on a left turn. I have to REALLY slow down on a roundabout

not really very helpful as I haven't really looked at the suspension..... but just a thought

but if everything seems tight and not leaking, could it be a loose top mount allowing the other side to move too much.....?? I would have thought you'd also get a clunk with that, but there may be loads of rubber around it,

could you jack up both sides and see how the axle hangs maybe??

someone should be along to poke this idea to bits and give you a solution soon hopefully

Wrong load rating tyres on one side?

I had something like that on my old Ulysse, ( did not like right hand corners) you use to get a lurch, which felt horrible. What was found was a crack on the wishbone ( If I remember right )

If it were mine my next thought after roll bar brackets and bush would be are the droplink rubbers perished

tyre same make/rating both sides......perised rubbers... seem ok .. but perhaps they need looking at on a ramp... thanks both ...

Are you checking just the front?

Does it handle different right to left, understeer / oversteer?

Does your bongo "sit flat" (on level ground) Dave? Perhaps one of the coil springs have snapped?

I had a cracked anti roll bar bracket a couple of years ago,but there didn't seem to be any adverse affect on the handling...just a clunk when coming off a speed bump a bit too quick.

I had to literally hang from a pry bar to show that the bracket had snapped! (i ended up on the floor actually,as my weight was just too much for it,then it really did snap! )

Yes it does seem to handle differnetly when turning left and right, The left turn is not too bad, it is the right turn which is the problem with understeer which throws me out to the left .....
