The auto box takes approximately 4 litres of dexron 3 ATF, the diffs use a SAE-90 (GL-5) gear oil, or a (GL-6) if your bongo has an L.S.D

Hi,

I'm getting mine done next week, I'll see how hard it looks to do and get back to you if you like. Done the rest myself but not having a jack etc I dont' fancy doing the transmission myself.

Hi,

Thanks for the tips and offer of the ramps. I'm booked in for this at the dealer next week, as I lack time and tools at the moment I'll go with that as it's now done 100k km and I have no idea if it's ever been changed so it's a good idea to get it done and the filters etc cleaned too. I think I'll buy some extra for top ups as I'm off to Cornwall soon after so if it goes low I'll need to top it up.

Thanks again and have a great weekend.
