Mine handled like a pig when it had them all round - whatever the pressure.
Are you 4wd scanner? It was a case of me not knowing any different really, as my bongo had those tyres fitted when i bought it. They were brand new, so no need to replace em. (as far as i knew  )
No 2WD and I didn't know any better when I bought mine with 195 all round.

Then I bought the 16" alloys and fitted 215/60s all round and discovered the difference....................

I'd my 205/65/15 at 40 psi and the centre of the rears wore quickly - overinflated. Once it starts to wear that's it - they don't recover

Interesting that, whereas my 195's didn't wear in the middle on 40 psi( i did get excessive shoulder wear at factory pressures though)...I wonder if the extra width of you 205's offered a tad more "give" in the centre of the tyre, making it more prone to wear in the middle due to over-inflation? Did you check your pressures cold or warm?

Mine were always warm as the machine at my local morrison's is suprisingly accurate.

Is yours hard on front tyres, mine is #-o :?:
It would be cheffy, but i'm pretty good with wheel rotation, i make sure that they are rotated maybe four times during the average life of a tyre... I'm 4wd you see, so don't want to be running on worn (ish) tyres at the front, and full tread tyres on the rear.

I replace the tyres as a complete set to even it out further still.

There may lie the difference... 2wd's handle differently to 4wd bongo's,perhaps the 195's are noticeably less stable ( in feel) than on the fourbies?

I feel that your average 2wd bongo understeers a tad more than it's 4 wd counterpart,i noticed understeer with the 195's,perhaps it's compounded somewhat with a 195/2wd combo?

Just chucking maybe's into the pot here....

At the moment I have the tyres as fitted by AVA - Marshall Power Racer 215 65 R15 all round. Run rear at 36, front 34. The rear always look flatter due, I suppose, to the fact that most of the weight is behind the front wheels and being taken by rear tyres and suspension. So far no uneven wear.
I do put the rear up to 38 when loaded with camping gear.

I have just got some alloys with 205/65/15 rated 95 would I be able to use these on the front? I know I would need to change the rears.
It's 4wd

If it looks flat, it probably is - no matter what the book says.
