Dunky Bongo
We normally go surfing at the Gower (Wales) we found it closer than newquay, nice quiet duned beaches and less crowds.

funny, I've literally just walked in the door from Newgale in Penbrokeshire, thought it would be quieter than the Gower or Devon B/H weekend. Picked up a bit of a swell Sunday and this morning, but didn't like the pebbles!!! Completely empty, very nice

Just spotted this mini meet... what a great idea (we're Bongo meet virgins)!
Unfortunately we can't make it this time because our Bongo is off the road (waiting for DVLA to re-register it... long story see separate post)...
But I'll be keeping a keen eye on future East Anglian meets!
Hope you all have fun and hopefully see you next time.
Adam

I would imagine visiting in a none bongo transport would be fine.
No need to stay over.....
DO we have a list of who is arriving when. ( we just passed the 6 week old in a van test so it we will be there Saturday and Night with B & E Sunday for us then off.
regards Mrs Pips

Yes, could everybody who thinks they can make it post when they intend to arrive.
I will then send out directions on how to find the entrance road from the A.1.
It's not that easy to find unless you know the locality.

Hopefully there will be someone there to let you in at that time.
If not you'll have to spend an hour or so looking around the Nature Reserve next door.
Not sure what time I'll get there as Mrs S doesn't finish work until 5pm

If they are too noisy they'll get tied to the back of one of the powerboats and sent skiing sans skis - that'll give them something to make a noise about but we won't be able to hear them above the noise of beer cans being opened.

Harry

from the sailing club should be on site from mid-afternoon on Friday to "meet and greet" early arrivals.
I will now PM a link to location details for the club to all those who have indicated they would like to attend.
