Post by parawaiting » Wed May 07, 2008 12:37 pm

i have recently started getting a sqeaking noise for about 1 second when i put the aircon on and sometimes when i accelerate hard. does anyone know the likely cause and do i need to fix it soon or should i fix it before using the bongo again? :?

hi i thought it might be the belt, but my main point was is it serious ie does it need sorting before i use again or can it wait until i get round to it?

Hi
Determine whether it is the belt first...it might be very loose....just adjustment....don't use the aircon until it's sorted, as if it isn't the belt, the compressor may be at fault....tackle the easy bit first.
Cheers
