wiper adjustments

Post by meek.tv » Tue May 06, 2008 11:07 am

my front wipers seem to be going down too far and hitting the edge of the screen rubbers ive popped the grommits off and undid the bolts but then got a bit stuck on what to do next. tried pulling them off to reposition but they didn't seem to budge. didn't want to force 'em just incase i broke something, is there a trick to it or ami just bing weak?

had similar on mine, they seem to seize onto the spindle.
i used gt85 and allowed it to soak for a few hours then gently prized the arm up whilst gently tapping the spindle(with the nut still on to protect the thread).
be carefull near your screen and plastic trim though. 8)

Hi, had the same trouble with my wiper arms, used wd40,that made removal easy, use a dab of Copper Slip on the splines, makes it a lot easier next time.
