Re: FRONT CIGARETTE LIGHTER
Have you checked the fuse in the plug of whatever you are plugging in ???
Re: FRONT CIGARETTE LIGHTER
Yep its not the fuse in car or the what i am pluging in
the leads are all connected at the back of the socket
is it in any way connect to the rear socket? as this works fine
it was working ok.

HI,
Can you get at the wires that feed it from behind and see if power is getting there? If so you know it's a faulty lighter unit then. If no power then can you trace the wires back to the fuse box?
Failing that, maybe get some new wire of the appropriate rating and a new fuse and holder and run directly off the car or leisure battery if you have one. This is going to be far easier than routing from the rear one, and you can then use both at the same time if needed without the risk of blowing a fuse.

Do you mean the opposite? (Take out of front and put in rear.)oglivy0 wrote:Take out the rear and try it out in the front.

Re: FRONT CIGARETTE LIGHTER
Dont make any difference.Just testing if lighter is faulty.I do mean the whole lighter not just the part that heats up.sajseven wrote:Do you mean the opposite? (Take out of front and put in rear.)oglivy0 wrote:Take out the rear and try it out in the front.
