Know what you mean, had to pick my Aussie family up from Heathrow last month, got in the car and the battery was flat, must have knocked the interior light on getting out on the previous trip, luckily my daughters car was here and we managed to get it started. Sods law virtually runs my life. Cheers Tom.

It may be worth you checking out any earths you may have, if they are corroded clean them up and make a new connection.

Yea done that too, just put a request in on an online search engine called 1stchoice.co.uk, for the alternator as I have been quoted £350.00 for a replacement and that was jap spares. Within a minute I had six e mails and two phone calls offering an alternator, cheapest one was £70.50 delivered from a company called foreign car spares, this comes with a 90 day warranty too, the others varied from 10 to 30 days, calls are still coming too. This search engine is worth a go for bits peeps.

Check with Mister Munkey for problems I seem to recall he had with inferior alternator brand. Just to be safe. Good luck

Well what service, alternator arrived lunch time, super quick. just got to fit the blighter now. Company are Foreign Car Spares at Birmingham, invoice says they specialise in parts for japanese cars, 0121 327 8214. http://www.foreigncarspares.com worth a try for bits, I certainly cannot grumble at the alternator for £70.00 delivered wrapped up like it was the crown jewels.
