Hi all
I sure there is probably a post somewhere in here for elevating roof issues so sorry for starting another.
I am a new bongo owner and having a problem getting the auto roof up. Its a V plate in really good condition and the roof worked when it was demonstraterd. It even worked when I got it home, but the 3rd time I tried it didnt work. After a bit of hair pulling i gave the handbrake a bit more welly and the roof worked and did so for the next 2 times I had to elevate. Now it wont do anything. I think I have exhausted all my options as I have pressed every button in all the sequences I can think of.
Not a peep, is there a magic trick to this or is it buggered? If so to any of these scenarios what are my options and where do i stand with the company who sold me the van.
Many kind regards
ELEVATING ROOF

Re: ELEVATING ROOF
Is the light on the dash with Brake on it lit if not
the switch on the hand brake that tells the car
it's on is now working take off the plastic cover
over the gear selector/hand brake and you can
see the switch a cheap n nasty thing with a wire
on it.

Thank you for that marvelous advice.
Took off the cockpit, couldnt see anything obviously wrong, gave the switch a couple of pushes to make sure it worked, squeezed the connections and IT WORKS!!!!
Thank you so much.

Hi McFlurry...hope you're sorted now.
If that's a pic of your Van it looks a cracker. Congrats and welcome.

Wow, amazing the amount of advice that can be found here. This has been said before, without this forum owning a bongo would be difficult, well almost impossable.
