Im sure some one will come up with an answer soon
but in the mean time put your location in your profile as sometimes a local can take a look for you.

Was it a private sale?

Just checked in the handbook and it says it is also the "Scavenging Fan Warning light"

That is the big fan just in front of the engine, I think.

This problem came up recently - you might find the answer in this thread http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... ng#p185435

Or try putting "flashing AND scavenger" into Search for some more suggestions.

Would agree that it's the dealers problem to sort though.

Good luck

Hi,
I don't know if this will help you. My bongo had a similar problem, the glow plug light would come on for 3 or 4 seconds after the engine had fired up, It then went out and there was no more problem until the next time I started the engine. It has done this for the 3 years I have owned it. I recently fitted a new heavy duty battery and the fault has never re-occurred. I don't understand why this has fixed it, maybe a slight fault on the earth or a low voltage. It never affected the running, starting etc. Good luck anyway.
