Hi everyone
Just preparing (in the dark) for my first weekend away this year. Discovered that the rear cab centre light works in the 'ON' position but is not working in the 'DOOR' position (with the side door open).
Can anyone shed some light on this (sorry, couldn't resist!!)
Thanks

does it come on when you open the rear door?does the light in the very back lhs side come on.this may give a clue as to if a switch is at fault.
we had a similar thing on ours a while back-once the sliding door switch earth was cleaned it worked fine.

Hi,
The light in the roof of the rear of the bongo where you sit is operated by a small switch on the vertical upright where the sliding door opens, near the long hinge channel. That could be dirty or sticking.
The smaller light above the seatbelt light in the luggage area is operated by a similar switch. Again check this isn't sticking or just dirty. Failing that a wire could have come off or been damaged in some way.
Hope this helps.

Hi all
Thanks for your posts. I have been away for the weekend. Very enjoyable but cold and damp!!
I did play around with the switches and with the constant use over the weekend the light started to work this morning. I guess it was maybe a bit sticky from not being used over the winter.
Thanks for your help
