Hiya,

We are "probables" for the saturday daytime. There's me, the other half David, a 3 year old and a very nearly 2 year old.

I am afraid that it all depends on the weather cos if it's raining it's difficult to keep two young uns entertained for long.

Bye,

MW

UPDATE

Charity Farm meet 2008 has had to be cancelled!!

The site is still waterlogged and the forecast for next week looks very wet,so unfortunately the meet is off.

However I have a plan B which is another site in the NW,I have contacted them last week and they sounded quite positive but again depends on the weather.

So for now Charity farm is off,but another venue is being sought. At the moment I dont want to say which other site it is.

I will keep you all posted I will know today if the other site wants to help us out.

Cheers Dabs

It's not Terminal 5 is it, they can't use the runway effectively, so we may as make use of it.

OK Peeps :(

Both sites have now confirmed that next weekends meet will NOT take place,Im sorry I tried to find another site but it seems a common problem at the moment with the wet weather. The Plan B site also wouldnt accept us either.

So I am sorry but next weekends Meet is now cancelled.

I will be sending PMs to everyone that had registered for it to make sure no one turns up next weekend, thanks all for your interest all is not lost as the owner of Charity Farm has already asked me to consider re booking the Meet at a later date to which I have agreed. The other site has also shown interest in hosting a Meet later in the year too so stay positive!! :D

Yes
Either stay at home and wash the Bongo or

have a Day Meet somewhere on the Sunday or

pockets of us organise our own little meets on sites with hardstandings for the weekend

Im exhausted now thinking of all that!! :D :D :D :D

Anyone any fresh ideas for a Day Meet?? ie not Haig Hall or Pennington Flash which are my favourites

A big cheer and a thank you to Dabs for his considerable efforts on behalf of us all, must have used up most of his Saturday. We are going to wait till nearer the weekend to make a decision. Does anyone know if ground is firm at Gibraltor farm? We only have 2wd and a history of getting stuck in the mud.
