Re: INJECTION PUMP
Just wandered how long it took to change the seals? I may have to have this done in a garage soon and wanted to get an 'independent' idea of labour costs?

Re: INJECTION PUMP
I supplied the seals (same as Ford Ranger in case they don't know what a Bongo is) from a diesel specialists, printed off the factsheet and gave the lot to my garage. They charged 1 hours labour but reconed it would have taken 2.5 hours without the factsheet.
good luck

Incidentally...the fuel leak is not consistant when the seals are duff and the leak tends to take place at low revs and just after shutdown.

Re: INJECTION PUMP
It took me just under an hour and that was including the rear seal situated in between the injector pipes.mandy wrote:Just wandered how long it took to change the seals? I may have to have this done in a garage soon and wanted to get an 'independent' idea of labour costs?
