Hi, can anyone help?
I've just moved my bongo a few feet and noticed a drip on the floor where it was. After investigating , it seems to be coming from a coupling just in front of the offside rear wheel. It has two bolts - 10mm and11mm and when i checked them for tightness some fumes hissed out of the nearby hose and fluid bubbled out of the coupling body. I have recently run the rear heater which seemed ok. Iturned the heater to cold and the vapour stopped. Don't know if it has anything to do with it though. The fluid coming out seems oily.ANYONE ANY IDEAS ,PLEASE.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

How far in front of the wheel? - I've just had a quick look and can't see anything fitting your description

Aha - just looked again. It looks like the hoses to your rear heater - the oiliness is probably the antifreeze in the coolant. Check your coolant level to see if it has dropped.

hi, John- don't think its coolant that is a greeny colour this is more yellowish- tastes bitter could it be diesel or even brake fluid?

Don't think so Dave - it definitely looks like the rear coolant pipes to me.

Hi
I think you'll find that that is the pipework to the rear aircon ...the hiss was escape of gas, and the fluid maybe the oil. Take it to your local "specialist"
Cheers

Have a good trip - at least the aircon isn't essential at this time of year.

Thats ok then, least it's not the dreaded leaky syndrome.
