Stereo Wiring

Post by Oggy Bongo » Fri Mar 28, 2008 1:03 am

I wish to rewire a new stereo head unit in the dash to the new leisure battery. Is this a simple case of dropping in an inline 15amp fuse and an ground wire to the metal work of the body. Or is there something more i should do?
Can anyone also let me know which is the + & - power source wire on the back to the existing Jap connection block?
Thanks fellow members.

Welcome aboard Oggy B, can't see anything complicated about it, but can't answer the wire colour question either. Simple to use a curcuit tester though, but someone will answer soon. Enjoy the Mad House/Forum.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

Hi and welcome Oggy

Sorry I can't help with your enquiry, but I have to say, my first thoughts when I saw your username, and untill I saw where your from, was that the Brother-in-law has joined. He is actively seeking to enter into the enlightened world of Bongoism.
