Passenger window not working

Sorry for the repeater, but I have spent the best part of an hour in the obscurity of the search facility and got sick of opening totally non-related topics.

Anyway, my passenger window will not operate on either door switches and I wondered if you good people (and the bad ones among you) had any ideas on where to start fault finding?

Any help is appreciated

I think a common reason give on here is that the wiring loom, where it passes from bodywork to door, is prone to fatiguing and fracturing of wires due to repeating flexing. I imagine this could explain both switches not working. I guess I have to expect this problem too at some point and/or take preventative measures. no doubt those that had had to deal with it will come back with more detailed advice on identifying and fixing the problem.

Sorry if this sounds a bit obvious but have you flicked the little switch by the drivers side window buttons...as this switches the passenger side windows on or off?

Just fixed mine.. it was the drivers door switch - it gets a supply or earth from there - took it apart (with care!!) and the contacts were all green and cruddy. Quick clean and all good....

It also does no harm to spray silicon/grease into the window runners to keep them smooth and then it does not strain the motors.

He he...accidently knocked the switch myself at the weekend... followed by brief panic then forehead slapping solved it

problem stu..... The other being roof not opening/closing, posting a query on here, then realizing that the handbrake is off...

I know, I'm an idot....but I'm a relieved idiot!

It's just the assumptions that we Bongo owners make due to the stories of doom you read - If I ever need to top up with water, I will be convinced that my head is cracked

S'alright, mine wouldn't start at all today after I dropped mum & her shopping off, turned the key - nada. didn't take long to realise I'd not put it in P

, still had that panic for a couple of seconds though
