DAsh Warning Light Question - "Charge" and "H

Post by nubbinshowin » Mon Mar 24, 2008 2:23 pm

Just noticed these on yesterday and was wondering if anyone knows what they mean?

I've googled and Fury searched the living heck out of it to no avail...

Help!

It's the "HEAT" light

Thanks for your interest...

the charge light is the alternator, usually comes on with sediment trap light I think

but the heat light.....where's that then?.... other than on the dashboard

does it come on on start up? if it does, it could be a duff glowplug dragging the battery down

or is it something to do with the heating? what heating has your bongo got? is it manual or auto aircon...?

what age is your bongo?

so many questions

but with a bit more info, I'm sure someone will be along soon with an answer!

The HEAT light is on the console to the right of the Speedo...

The CHARGE light is to the left of the Speedo

Bongo is a P reg - 1997

No idea what the problem is, that's why I am here!

I think you mean the charge and the glowplug lights. If this is the case, it points to a dodgy alternator. Try cleaning the alternator bushes.
