purchased bmw clock.do i fit above or below the stereo?

hi,
i`ve purchased a bmw e36 clock to fit.do i fit it above or below the stereo?(i haven`t bought the stereo yet so i can do either.

it does depend on what stereo you buy, if its one with a screen that flips up then the clock will have to go under the stereo or you will not see it if the stereo screen is in the upright position, (i found that out after i fitted everything)
