found out why my horn doesn`t work.it`s gone!!

Post by hogggman » Wed Mar 19, 2008 7:33 pm

hi,
i posted earlier messages about my horn not working for some reason.i looked all around the front passenger side wheel arch, where i was told the horn should be,and nothing.the horn is missing and there`s a small two pin connector dangling down.i can only assume that it was removed when the leisure battery was fitted and not put back.will any other horn fit?is it normaaly live and then earthed by the horn button,or vice versa?
thanks

have you checked under the headlight? some bongos have the horn there, when they fitted the leisure battery they may have caught them and pulled them off, thus the wires just left dangling.

but i have 2 horns, one under each wheelarch fastened onto the bracket the comes off the front bumper that is attached to the body.(inner arch)

Fit a pair of these, cheap but sound great and easy to fit in place of the standard horn.
