Diagnostic socket and codes

Post by lochan2 » Fri Mar 14, 2008 8:02 pm

Hi all, I have just discovered a diagnostic socket (marked 'Diagnosis') up under the passenger footwell on my 1995 Bongo and was wondering if anyone has found a way to recover the fault codes from it and what the codes mean? Still clutching at straws trying to sort out ABS light before MOT time :?

Don't think it'll help the abs problem, I think that is to do with the flashing hold light codes as per the fact sheet in the members section, but I may be wrong

It covers signals for fans, EGR, glow plug circuit, service codes, idle rev control, warm up controls, a/c, gauges and autobox but only wit ha serial break box to interrogate it. Otherwise only autobox faults can be recovered by hold light sequences.
