My continuing problems

Post by oldgit » Wed Mar 12, 2008 8:20 am

Does any-one know of a good reasonably local mobile mechanic, for the Hemel Hempstead area, to look at my Bongo, which has starting problems, that I've been unable to solve. Cheers Tom.

The website doesn't give an indication of their operating area Paul. Will they go as far as Hemel Hempstead?

If he'll go from Thurrock to Wigan , Hemel's a walk in the park! (less than an hour's drive)

I have spoken to this chap, and he said he's booked up to the hilt for all of this month and most of next month, so he must be good, but I need our Bongo for the 24th March. He gave me some suggestions that didn't help much, as Allans of Plymouth was talking me through the jobs to do, and he was very helpful. I am putting a new fuel filter on when it arrives from Ian, because the only problem left to solve seems to be fuel problems. Fingers crossed. Thanks to all for your interest and good wishes, I'll kleep you all up to date. Cheers Tom

Wish I knew about him when I live in Brentwood for sixteen years. Drove through South Ockendon many times on my way to Lakeside in preference to using the M25.

Have you been to brentwood dandy? Whereabout did you see a place there making women's undergarments? All that I saw there was flash city types spending their obscene bonuses on flash cars and pink champange. Better ask my big sister about this garment factory of yours she still lives in Brentwood, has been there for around forty years.
By the way I worked at both the PSA and the Home Office in Central London. The job was great but the commuting was hell. Thank god I do not have to get up at half past five in the morning anymore.
