Anyone heard of Ametech Restoring Oil

Post by apole » Mon Mar 10, 2008 10:48 pm

Just looking for some oil on ebay and found this oil that is supposed to cure all. Yep, I know, I've never believed stuff like this works but I was wondering if anyone had used it and what the results were?

Ebay item 260197927962 is an example.

Looks like it's made from real snakes to me.

Never used it myself but have a friend who used it in a smoky old Rover. There was a definite improvement, but how long it would last is anybody's guess - his wife wrote it off a couple of months after putting the stuff in.

If mineral oil comes from minerals and vegetable oil comes from vegetables - where does baby oil come from?
