Seat Belt Bolt Size
Hi guys,
Anyone know what size the seat belt hole is (upper one).
Going to try and use the spare hole to mount an LCD screen. Tried an M8 but too small.
Has anyone done this before?
Thanks.
Andy

Re: Seat Belt Bolt Size
M12 1.25 pitch(Metric fine), and you're not going to find these down the depot. Stig fasteners will have them though (google for address). Bear in mind that ISO bolts have a 19mm head not 17mm like the jap ones.apole wrote:Hi guys,

seat belt bolts
Hi Andy,
I have some seat belt sets in my garage, so if you get stuck I can send you a couple of bolts.

Seat belts
hi John B,
Tried reversing seats before and I know seat belts are not compulsory whilst travelling backwards but..
What do you think about doubling up an extra seatbelt on the same retaining bolt to allow everyone to be secured.
Is this possible or legal?
Thanks.

seat bolts
Hi Ricardo,
I afraid I am not qualified to answer that question, but I dont think I would trust two peoples lives on one bolt. It doesn't sound legal to me.

Re: seat bolts
John, I dont think you need to worry about 2 belts on one bolt as Mazda already do it for the female ends of the lapbelt and 3 point belt that are both on the same one. I would say as long as its a bolt of similar dimensions to the originals used on the belts then it should be strong enough.johnb8840 wrote:Hi Ricardo,
