Sticky speedo needle ??

Post by granitetim » Sun Mar 09, 2008 6:22 pm

Just got back from Tatton day meet (great day). On the way back my speedo stated to jump about a bit then stuck at 50mph then just acting a bit odd. Does something need oiling? Or replacing? Or plug loose if the latter where is it ? Cheers in advance Tim

You need to remove dial cluster and if you find a rectangular block with a few wires , yours is chipped, ours was and always temprimental  If not chipped it could be a dodgy connection on the circuit board
