autobox selector display panel

Post by al.b » Sun Mar 09, 2008 2:02 pm

help please.

my bongo auto gear selector display is cracked and damaged. It was very cracked when I bought the vehicle but now parts of the display have disintergrated through heat I think.

Now I have a gap so at night I have a lovely light display from it onto the dashboard.
Anybody Know where I can obtain one? alsoI have to remove the gear selector itself to remove the panel,is this difficult to do?

Many thanks. only had my Bongo a year but would never go back to a car

Welcome to the madhouse :D
Try some of the places on this page http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/showroom.htm some of them break Bongos for spares.

If you want to pimp your van at the same time try these http://www.visual-performance.co.uk/#/m ... 4519979421

I think Daveblueozzie has some of these so he's your man to answer any questions.

Maybe he still has the original display going spare. Worth an ask.

the display from visual performance is cheaper than the original, i think a tenner. i dont have the old one they always break they are very brittle. if your doing this at least get the full set of dials as well as the selector £50 the lot.
Lost without my Bongo.
