Problems

I know it may be a silly question, but I've been setting the tappets assuming that the inlet valves are the doubles and the single one is the exhaust, just going by the configeration, am I correct? Tom

Yep :)

When the crankshaft is at TDC, no1 on the power stroke (assuming the valve timing is set correctly  ) then adjust valves 5, 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Turn the crank ONE full turn and adjust 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 & 8.

I set mine to the lower spec and the engine was certainly quieter and ran "crisper"

The question I asked, am I correct in thinking the exhaust valve is the single one. What feeler gauge sizes did you use? Tom
