Iezura full exhaust

Post by Mack » Tue Mar 04, 2008 3:37 pm

Somone recommended these full exhausts on here, so I got one. Took it in to be fitted today only to discover that they don't supply sealing rings. Just had to ask Japtec to get me some and reschedule fitting. Grrrrrrr!

Damn that is a pain in the ass!!, I did reccomend once or twice about using Iezura for an exhaust. And i know Ozric had one from them.

On a plus side though, you have just informed members to make sure they get the extra bits they need before ordering exhaust from them.

Sorry about your predicament, it is a bugger when you have to book it in again. Hope it wont take too long for you.

Mmm. Guess who else bought one? Not only weren't there any gaskets but no nuts and bolts either. Sourced the nuts and bolts myself and happily the garage supplied the gaskets.

Oh and the exhaust arrived over two separate days because the thing wasn't boxed. Each bit was loose! Oh and i thought one bit was missing only to find out later it was cleverly wrapped up with another part. I complained to the Royal Mail. The Royal Mail are still looking for it after four weeks.

I would phone the Royal Mail and let them know i have found it but on the grounds of economy they can get stuffed. It took me 50 minutes the first time before somebody answered the phone for me to put in my complaint!! :x

I have to say the Churcham Garage have been brilliant - I can't recommend them too highly. My 4 part exhaust also turned up in 3 parcels - I was busy accusing the e-bayer who had sent my electric hook up that it had not arrived, whilst assuming that it was the 4th part of exhaust......Oh the shame! I also asked the garage to fix my rear heater, without realising that there was a switch on the dash for it...back to instruction manual for me.

I have never known an exhaust system to come with bolts and gaskets. I bought a mid-section and back box from a honda main stealer once and even then they where seperate items.

Yes that's the situation as I always found it as well, even if you look in an Exhaust systems part book all the extra diddly bits are separately listed and have to be specifically ordered.
It is a shame Iezura don't offer an ancilliaries pack that you can order though.

I bought mid and rear sections from Iezura and the fitters just used the general stock they all seem to have lying around
The gaskets (I think) are the same as some Audis.
