spare
I hit a kerb today whilst parking, bummer looking at recent conversations i am concerned the spare will not be the right size. It is the front near side. scraped all the inside and the wall of tyre ripped, not lost any pressure but not sure if i need to change. i will change myself if a car but not sure cos it is a van. What do people think????

Get the tracking checked too if it's the front that took the brunt as it could have knocked it out. Not sure what tracking settings are but I know its been discussed on here before so do a search and ask if stuck as someone will know (I can check my workshop manual to see if it has the data if no one else has the answer). Good luck

Wait for the NW Brigade to give you advice on that (BigDaddy, DaveBlueOzzie, Dabs, Rooster, Jetskier etc.) as if they don't know a good place locally then nobody will.
Tigs over in Norfolk got an interesting brand of 17" tyres for her new alloys and they were v cheap and we think hard compound so high mileage. Can't remember the brand but PM her to ask how she is finding them.

well bought bongo from wheel quick and did give him a call. Tyre ok as the wall not showing so for time being it will stay as it is. Mike has offered 4 new alloy wheels with tyres fitted etc for £300 does that sound good??? Mike suggested selling other wheels on ebay, odd scuff to rim though hopefully fetch around £150 in ebay.
any one going to Tatton park on sunday????
