Just found out that if we wern't going to the Brokers wood meet
I would have been expected to go to a family Christening....so got out of that one nicely

Don't know whats happening to the family up north theyre breeding like bloody rabbits....must be something in the water....or beer

My nephew will be ringing his hands thinking " Gonna cost me more next Christmas!!!!" Poor sod

Hi everyone,

I've pm'd all people who were booked in this morning (the pm might seem a bit standardish i'm afraid) and asked for confirmation that some who have not sent cheques (some will have but I've explained that problem) will be there. OH, I WILL BE!!!!!!! (crazy, you keep that beer away from me!)

There are some people who would like to come who are waiting to know if it is possible and I will be in touch to confirm if it is possible by Friday.

I have a list of potential day visitors and should be able to sort that out by tomorrow. I will ring Brokerswood later and try to sort that out. They definitely accept visitors but at present they will charge the day rate per person so I'm hoping to change that. The problem is how many people you have in the van!

It will be our first Bongoing night too.

Just got back from collecting our brand spanking new Khyam awning ready for the off.

Just hope that we don't look too daft trying to put it up.

Yes, as far as I know the original list are all coming.

The only doubt I have at present is BongoLouis who I have been trying to contact. I have a couple pf people on a waiting list so if anyone knows how to contact them I would be grateful if you did.

I have 5 minutes here on this computer today but i'll be back on tomorrow to sort out any final problems.

Look forward to seeing you all next week. I'll be there fairly early on Friday.

Don't worry about it, ma-hale - we've all done something to make others roll around laughing at us at a meet. They'll be plenty of hands at the ready to give assistance if needed - as long as they haven't imbibed for too long on the cider and beer already of course, in which case you might be better off without the help

Hello Everyone.

The original list of 20 has been confirmed to me so at this precise moment there are NO extra spaces available. Hmm....

I have a couple of vans on a waiting list.... So I'm still working on a couple of extra spaces but won't find out until Wednesday if I can force the issue

I haven't given up yet!

Day visitors:

I have negotiated a cheaper visitors rate of £2.50 per adult (ok Crazy, you're neither a child or a visitor so don't apply this to yourself) and £1.50 per child. A saving off of their normal admission prices. If Brokerswood don't spot the Bongo tell them you are with us when you arrive and they will allow the discount.

At this point I hasten to add that as soon as you've actually met us you will probably disown us, but you'll be in anyway so you'll have saved some money!!

I would be interested to know who is planning to visit and at about what time so if you could pm me with that info before Thursday it would be good.
