Can't help directly but I know a firm in Hull that have done this to at least one V6. They're a reliable, long established firm with a good local reputation. Give them a call, I'm sure they can answer any Q's you have

Interested to see the results.

Good luck.

i will use it as my only vehicle, and may do 10,000 miles a year, and will keep it for as long as is feasible, regarding reliability etc.
thanks

Are you capable of doing the conversion with help of the local machine shop?

Hi there,
Expect to pay around £2k for a proper conversion, it all depends on the system you get fitted, you can pay as little as £1300 and way over £2K.

I would make sure the guys fitting it are well respected, don't just rely on the fact they are registered with the LPGA as when I was researching there are some horror stories out there and they didn't nothing about it.

With a good system you should average 20MPG overall, sometimes more (up to 24 and sometimes less but overall for me it's been 21.

Good sources of info are:
http://www.my90.co.uk/lpg/index.php
http://www.lpginfo.co.uk/altern.html
http://www.go-autogas.com/

From what I've experienced and researched I'd go for a Prins system, with the biggest tank you can fit, and get a good local fitter if you can as they need a checkover at 1000 miles and then a service every year or so depending on your mileage.

You won't notice any real difference in how the car drives etc, it's a little smoother on gas that's about it.

Any questions, drop me a PM.

Andy
