Electric window switch

Post by WISHIHADABONGO » Mon Feb 18, 2008 7:00 pm

Right ok, both my clips on the driver and passenger electric window switches are broken.... and they keep popin up...both switches work perfect...

My Questions...

1. When you purchase a replacement switch does it come complete with cover and switch, or just the switch part?

2. Do most people have to buy a new one for the above reason or because the switch has failed?

The reason I ask is if its because the switch doesnt work then I could ask if someone will sell me their broken switch....and I can have the cover...

Get me?

Any help apreciated

Si

i wouldnt bother buying a new one, as even most second hand ones have the holding clip broken, i just put a small blob of superglue on under the lip of the side that had broken and stuck it back down, lasted 18 months untill i took it out, (didnt damage the panel either just a small white line) and gave it to jetskier as he need the mechanism part as his was broke.
