Electric blind repairs- (sliding door access point R.H.S)

Hi all.
Little fingers have been playing with the electric blinds and the one by the sliding door now jams about 6" from top.. worst still the plastic rod has snapped by the nut on the right hand side.. has anyone else had to repair this and what was their experiance?

dont know about repairs, but i stripped mine to wash a while ago and its a bit of a pain in the rear, try pushing it up, a bit of force, it might get it to un jam, or is that the reason the plastic bar snapped?.
