2 questions, fuel guage and front heater

Post by ChrisB » Sat Feb 16, 2008 2:42 pm

I have just repaired my starter solenoid as my Bongo would not start. It now works. However, the fuel guage is permenantly on- even when the keys are completely out of the ignition. I assume that I have accidently disconnected something, but what?

My second query is that my front heater fan is intermittent. It seems to work when I give the fuse box a 'technical tap' so it could be a problem in there somewhere- is there a common fault/solution in this area?

I have searched to forum at great length, but no joy with either problem found (most likely IT incompetence though).

Fuel gauge always shows the fuel level - it only goes to empty when you've got no fuel.
Don't know about the fan.
