Does yours go up and down?

Your pole is the static type tigs (going from the pic) I have only ever seen one of the retractable type actually work,and thats after i'd teased it into a full erection with the tips of my fingers.

I've heard that a lot of them are disabled for the s.v.a... but that doesn't explain the static versions that are left in situ...?

Yep

mine stays erect at all times, but why do they need to be disabled for the SVA?

Haven't the foggiest tigs.... Someone will know i'm sure....

Perhaps its to do with an item protruding from the bodywork? I think there is a issue with bits sticking out for an mot,perhaps the sva is the same?
