Replacing Fuel Pump

Post by andyfb78 » Fri Jan 18, 2008 5:18 pm

Hallo,

Has anyone replaced their fuel pump?
Is it an easy-ish job? or is there something I should know?
I'm reasonably competent with a spanner, but I don't have any specialist tools.
How long would you expect it to take?
I had a search for this but couldn't find anything specific.

I haven't fitted a Bongo pump but you will need a DTI gauge and adapter to retime it correctly - a Bosch type will do fine.
