Alternator

Hi Guys,
Started the Bongo this am and the charge light and the sediment light stayed on. Looked on the site and found as much info as I could. Just wondered if anyone has had a new/recon alternator fitted. Where from/How much etc.
Thanks in anticipation, Bill

I had exactly the same "both lights on" trouble on Christmas Day.

Used this guy,

Absolutely fantastic service. Phoned at 4pm on thursday, delivered 10am friday.

Just take care not to puncture the bleed hose when you take out the old one. That grounded me again!

Happy hunting.

Hi,
Just to update. Had the alternator replaced and an oil and filter change while she was in.
£ 214 All in. Very fair price I thought. Anyone in/near Sheffield ? Can highly recommend the guy who looks after my Bongo.
Regards, Bill

Aldi at least the one in Fleetwood have a battery/alternator
tester in for less than £4 only one of those led things but
