How can you be responsible when you are stationary?

I've never had to claim on car insurance, except when i had my car stolen around ten years ago...

My bro in law became quite well versed in the little scams insurance companies can implement though,he reckons that before anything goes to court, call an independent insurance ombudsman, they are neutral in such matters, and if the insurance company is found to be "trying it on" The insurance company HAS to look after you....

Because the witness statements were inadmissable as they hadn't been submitted to all parties & she argued that I was moving into her path at the time, when in fact i was stationary, which even the police agreed appeared to be the case due to the car positions, damage etc, but they weren't used either

Anyway, back to the foglight factsheet.........
