parts for a service

Post by londonron » Wed Jan 02, 2008 8:31 pm

sorry to be a dummy but i want to get it right, need a air,oil and fuel filter for a 95 bongo. what confused me was the oil filter in the compatable parts base says (v6) and (2.0) as lists 2 types.

for a normal diesel bongo 95 year what do i ask for in halfords?

may sound dumb as im sure i have the answer underneath this line but i am unsure as first time.

Air Filter Mahle LX314 VW T4
Air Filter CA6391 Saab 2.0 TD 16v 89-93

Fuel Filter Blueprint ADK82312 Suzuki Vitara

Don`t ask for a service kit at Halfords as you may as well be speaking Japanese- go on abay and buy a filter kit - all three filters - usually delivered in 2 days . I use someone called Nipponnev and get my filter kit for under £25 delivered. Item # 250190323512. Hope this helps Ian. :)
If I had all the money I ever spent on my Freda ............ I`d spend it on my Freda.

the (2.0) or (v6) doesnt refer to the bongo it means that the compatible filter is the same as 2.0l or a v6 mazda 323 or a 626 .

Same here just picked up all three filters on evil bay for £20.00 and got four NGK 701 glow plugs at my local motor factor yesterday for a tenner each and they were listed as for bongo 2.5td as well. Oh and I write all these numbers on the inside cover of the handbook too, saves messing about searching.
