Has anybody looked at the GSM alarms on Ebay - or even better have you fitted one to a Bongo ?? I have been broaken into twice in a month whilst traveling in Europe and they look very good spec wise.

I am planning to go to France and Spain next year and I am getting a little worried about break ins and so I am also looking at security. During my online searches have come across this "ultrasonic car steering wheel lock with pager" from Maplin http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?Mod ... 2#overview

I like the idea as it seems reasonably priced, requires no installation, it visibly inmobilises the vehicle and pages if there is a break in.

Has anyone tried it and does anyone know if it will fit the standard bongo steering wheel?

I looked into the GSM alarm earlier this year. Still haven't got around to doing anything about it but it looked pretty good.

I have the instruction manual for one if you want to see it (word doc). PM me if you do. It's for a house system but it's 12v and coudl easily be adapted.
