When I had my 4WD Bongo tested last year, the tester just took it up the road to test the brakes, presumably with a Tapley meter or something onboard. He said that's what they do with all permanent 4WD vehicles. Incidentally, he was most impressed with the brakes and said that when he hit the pedal, he had to peel himself off the windscreen!
It's got to go in again next week. Wow! is it a year all ready? That's 2 great years of Bongo ownership now.

Just to confirm permanent 4 wheel drives should never go on a single axle brake tester. The old G meter is still OK to use but new stations have to have different stuff (I think).
Nice collection Mike, I have had a few bikes myself since I was 16 (20 long years ago), I guess somewhere around 300 in total. I have a fondness for anything British but particularly BSA. I currently have a new and old bonny (2001 and 1970). I also have 2 Motoguzzi's, a Bultaco Alpina, 2 Suzuki trail bikes and a Divvy. All good cheap fun and they cost pennies to tax and insure. I wish cars were as easy.
