Front Air con is working but back one isnt?

Post by martin70 » Sun Dec 02, 2007 3:38 pm

Can anyone help?
I got a new resistor for the front aircon and my mechanic replaced. The old one had all four points needing soldered.
However I have since discovered that the back aircon is no longer working?
I told my mechanic and he said if you have the old one we will put it back in and see if this is the source of the problem.

However I have chucked the old resistor?........can anyone help?
Are the units connected and how do yu get to the rear one.
Bongo boo is a 95 manual aircon.

Sounds familiar Martin
I recently replaced my front resistor & fan (manual air con) & when I put everything back together the rear stopped working - fuse had blown. I had been switching the front & rear fuses to try to locate faults & assumed that the front fuse (now in the rear) had been bad, although both had had continuity through them. Now I wonder though.... Hope it's the fuse for you as well.
